Session A Seminars:

A1.    De-Clutter Your Space  -  De-Clutter Your Life! Presented by Ellen Tozzi, Natural Order

Overwhelmed by clutter? Learn how to decide what items to keep and what to release. We’ll discuss how to arrange the treasures you keep and systems you can use to keep order. We’ll apply these principles to your life so you’ll have more time and less stress.

A2.    Depression in Women Presented by Beverly Hodsden

A discussion of the prevalence and symptoms of depression in women, includes a Quiz and Resources.

A3.    New Options in Contact Lenses Presented by Dr. Jennine Lutz, Matossian Eye Associates

If you are tired of wearing glasses, want to get back into contacts or want a more comfortable contact lens, there are many new options available. Dr. Lutz will discuss the many different contact lenses including bifocal, astigmatism, and healthier more comfortable lenses.

In this seminar by personal trainer Colleen O’Brien, experience and learn about the methods, movements and health benefits of fitness through Pilates exercise.

A6. Your Pelvic Health: Current Treatment Options for Pelvic Floor Disorders presented by Dr. Heather van Raalte

Pelvic floor disorders include pelvic organ prolapsed or “dropping” of the pelvic organs, urinary incontinence, overactive bladder and bowel disorders. These conditions affect over one third of all women and one out of eleven women will undergo surgery because of these conditions. Fortunately, this is one of the most rapidly growing specialty fields in women’s health and there are now better solutions available for pelvic floor disorders including non-surgical and minimally invasive surgical procedures. Dr. Heather van Raalte, fellowship trained in urogynecology will discuss these pelvic floor conditions including:

  • How do you know if you have a pelvic floor disorder?
  • What is pelvic organ prolaspe?
  • What treatment options are there, including things that can be done at home and when to tell if it’s time to see a doctor.

A7.  Personal Evolution – Becoming Empowered To Live Your Vision, presented by Dolores DeGiacomo

You can’t rewrite the past but you are the author of your future. Learn techniques to change and redefine your beliefs and actions to put them in line with who you truly are and who you want to be. Identify and clarify your goals and design your path. No matter what changes you want to make in your life, you can become empowered to make it happen.  This seminar is open to everyone.

Increasing Toxic exposures in our foods and environment are leading to increased cancers , obesity and chronic degenerative diseases. How to avoid & clean toxins safely and increase nutrition to improve overall health and wellness.

B1 Being A Sexy, Healthy Woman At Any Age – Perk Up Your Sex Life And Have The Health To Enjoy It”
Presented by Nurse Practitioners Suzanne Nawrock and Kathleen Woods of Capital Health

Good health and good sex are closely linked.  Nurse Practitioners, Suzanne Nawrock and Kathleen Woods, will discuss heart, breast and bone health as well as giving you tips to wake-up and enjoy your sex life!  Open discussions about sexual health are encouraged.  Come with your “friend’s” questions.

B2. The Psychology of Color – Travel with Us Through the Rainbow presented by Linda Principe of Linda Principe Interiors

Why do we choose the colors we do?  What do our color choices reveal about our personality?  This session will take an in-depth look into the colors in the rainbow and beyond as we explore the meaning of each color, how it affects us, and what your favorite colors say about you. You will learn how and where we can use color in our surroundings as well as how to increase your confidence in your color decisions.

B4. Stress and Your Heart presented by Central Jersey Heart Group, DR. Aliya F. Browne

This seminar will review stress and how it occurs. What is heart disease and how does stress affect one’s heart? Reviewing signs and symptoms of heart disease, how it is diagnosed and treated. This seminar will also give techniques and examples on how to treat stress.

B5. Speaking that Connects for Business & Personal Growth presented by Eileen Sinett of Comprehensive Communication Services

Public speaking is an unbeatable marketing tool for growing a small business. In addition, being comfortable speaking to groups develops character, communication confidence and personal presence. In this interactive seminar participants will learn three skills to bring their speaking to the next level of presentation excellence.

Learn key dietary steps to help prevent breast cancer, prevent its recurrence, and improve survival. Based on scientific research and over 30 years of experience with 12,000 women, this presentation reviews foods and beverages choices which contribute to, or protect against, the disease.

Kim O’Leary will demonstrate Belly Dance and show you the positive benefits that belly dancing can bring.

He will be discussing the latest hair trends and color techniques.  There will be a presentation on the use of extensions, wigs and top pieces for fun, fashion and medical purposes. The latest techniques in men’s hair replacement including lace fronts will also be introduced.
