Ladies – Want To Lose Weight?

Is your scale stuck?   After meeting with numerous women for their free Nutrition Counseling appointments this past month, I have learned that 99.9% of you do not eat enough and do not eat frequently enough! That is why you can’t lose weight!! 

For those of you who don’t know me, here’s a brief history:

I was a toothpick in high school.  Through the magic of the Dining Hall food at college (Notre Dame – Go Irish!) I gained 45 pounds.  It took me 8 years of doing everything wrong to finally lose weight without dieting or deprivation, and I’ve learned how to keep it off!

Because of my passion for nutrition, I became a Certified Holistic Health Counselor through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.  I have realized that my purpose in life is to help out as many people as possible reach their weight-loss goals in a healthy, balanced way!

Follow these 2 super-simple steps to get that scale moving again!  Give it 1-2 weeks for your body to respond these new changes.

  1. Eat breakfast within 45 minutes of waking. It doesn’t matter if you’re not hungry – eat something anyway!  You need to “wake up” your metabolism and the ONLY way to do that is by eating breakfast!
  2. Eat every 2-3 hours. This is very important!  After 3 hours, your body starts to go into “starvation mode.”  So the next time you eat something, it stores a little bit of food away as fat on your body “just in case” you decide to starve it again!

Fat is simply stored energy – that’s it.  If a famine occurs, your body will survive on your stored fat.  How to lose that fat?  Let your body know there is no famine and eat every 2-3 hours!

One of my clients lost 8 pounds and 10 inches in eight weeks by following my steps!
