The 2009 Platinum Dads/Men of Action Celebration

cute little child joke outdoor with dadJust in time for the nation’s commemoration of the 100th anniversary of Father’s Day, The 2009 Platinum Dads/Men of Action Celebration will be held Saturday, June 20 from 10 am – 1 pm at The Trenton Marriott at Lafayette Yard. Sponsored by UIH Family Partners, the Trenton Housing Authority and Lambda Lambda Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., this event will honor exemplary fathers and role models from across Mercer County, as well as civic and business leaders and young men of accomplishment, and will feature a plated brunch, an inspiring keynote speaker, musical entertainment and award and scholarship presentations. These will include recognition of the Platinum Dads Class of 2009 and Legacy of Fatherhood Award winner, as well as the recipients of Lambda Lambda Sigma’s Social Action; Bigger, Better Business; and Education Awards.
