Zonta Club Of Trenton/ Mercer Sponsors Gourmet Garden

gglogoThe 6th annual Gourmet Garden, a food and wine tasting event sponsored by the Zonta Club of Trenton/Mercer, will take place October 1, 2009, at The Hamilton Manor, 30 Route 156 (at route 130 S), Hamilton, NJ from 6-9pm.  The 2009 Gourmet Garden will prove to be a fine dining experience providing guests with a tasting of the finest foods from area restaurants, a sampling of wines provided by vendors of Glendale Liquors, and the opportunity to bid on spectacular specialty baskets.  Ben Shen of BTP Studio will photograph the event.  Proceeds from this event benefit Crawford House to pay for urgent dental care for Mercer County women and will also benefit other Zonta supported community outreach programs, service projects and scholarships. Chefs and Community Partner to Save Babies Lives

modlogoPlans for a food and wine extravaganza are under way at the March of Dimes as they gear up for the annual Princeton Signature Chefs event to raise money to improve the health of babies by preventing birth defects, premature birth and infant mortality.   The event, open to the public, attracts more than 300 executives, public figures and food connoisseurs. 30 top chefs and 10 local wineries will be featured. There will also be an auction of donated items including roundtrip airline tickets, time on a yacht, and an “I Love NYC” package.  “We’re here to raise money for research and education to give every baby a healthy start,” said Joan Stolpen, Princeton resident and March of Dimes volunteer co-chair. “This is a terrific networking event – and you enjoy signature dishes from incredible restaurants.” Continue reading Chefs and Community Partner to Save Babies Lives
